Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Perched along the slopes of Mount Etna, this countryside villa is a Sicilian dream. This home dates back centuries, with some original architectural features still remaining today. The old millstone takes centre stage – a fascinating piece of historical machinery. And the original ceiling beams, lava stones, and terracotta floor tiles elevate this home's characteristic flair. But make no mistake, this home has more than enough mod-cons for a comfortable and wonderful stay, including large double bedrooms, a hi-fi system, a pool table, and a huge swimming pool. The home's historical interior is beautiful, but the outdoor area takes the cake. We're continuously impressed by the winding gardens of palm trees, bright flowers, manicured hedges, and more. It's reminiscent of majestic Italian Renaissance gardens and wandering the grounds of this home, you could be transported to another time. An easier time, simply appreciating a slow and indulgent lifestyle. And not only are the gardens exquisite, but your glittering aquamarine pool also spoils you with an unbeatable view of vineyards and rolling hills carpeted in rich, lush greenery. There's so much vast countryside around you, it's no surprise your host can provide you with the very best of local produce and fresh vegetables from the garden. It feels like you're in your own little world, but you're just a five-minute drive from the charming village of Pedara. It's a small but very traditional village, the perfect place to try out mouth-watering Sicilian cuisine. And from here, you can really appreciate the majestic Mount Etna that towers above.
